The Crew could be turning the corner

Defending champions Columbus Crew have had a mixed start to the season and will be looking to kickstart their campaign at Cincinnati in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Crew have four wins, four draws and three defeats from 11 MLS games so far and are winless in three ahead of their trip to Cincinnati.

The Orange and Blue have lost all three of their games at the TQL Stadium so far and have the worst home record in the Eastern Conference, having conceded six goals and scored just two.

Cincinnati have been in good form on their travels, but their home form is starting to look concerning and they could be heading for another defeat on Saturday.

Columbus may have had a sluggish start to the season but they started to show signs of a return to form in their last outing as they fought back from 2-0 down to claim a 2-2 draw with Eastern Conference leaders New England Revolution.

New England were two goals up inside 30 minutes but the Crew dominated for the majority of the match and were arguably unlucky not to take maximum points.

Columbus Crew have scored exactly two goals in four of their last six games and that pattern could continue on Saturday.  Cincinnati have only failed to score in two of their last seven games so they should be able to get on the scoresheet, and we fancy a 2-1 win for the visitors here.
