FC Dallas vs Houston Dynamo Betting Tips

FC Dallas 3-2 loss at LA Galaxy last weekend made it back to back defeats for them, following on from their 3-1 loss at Sporting Kansas City the weekend before.

This brought an end to their three game winning streak, and just highlights the hot and cold nature of this FC Dallas side.

Before their winning streak they had incurred three straight defeats, and before that they had won four games in a row.

This inconsistent form has left them in a decent 3^rd position in the league with 47 points from their opening 29 games.

League leaders LA Galaxy are just three points ahead of them, and the 3^rd placed side have a game in hand over 2^nd place and two games in hand over LA Galaxy at the top.

Houston Dynamo aren’t in such a great position. They sit in 8^th position in the MLS Western Conference, although a win at FC Dallas could see them leapfrog San Jose Earthquakes and Portland Timbers up to 6^th position.

Houston Dynamo have won their last two MLS fixtures, beating Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City to bring them out of a poor spell of form.

Before these wins they had won just one of their last six, losing four times and drawing once.

Both of these wins have been at home though, and away from home the story is pretty bleak. They have only won one away game in their last 12 attempts, and are currently on a seven match winless streak where they have lost five times.

FC Dallas’ home record won’t give the visitors much comfort either. They have only lost once in their last 11 home games, and they have won nine of these matches.

I’m expecting a win for FC Dallas here after looking at the home and away records of both teams, and with the odds on offer being 8/11 I think that a straight up FC Dallas win is the most valuable bet to go for.
