FC Porto To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Porto have only lost once at home all season and they have kept nine clean sheets in front of their own fans. Rangers have struggled to score in Europe, netting only four goals and it is tough to see Danny Rohl’s team troubling the scoresheet.

      FC Porto 2-0

      Reason for tip

Porto will look to play on the front foot from the first whistle and they should record a routine win. They have scored two or more in each of their three home games in the Europa League so far.

      FC Porto vs Rangers Predictions

      • Porto have only lost one game at home all season
      • Rangers have already been eliminated from the knockout phase
      • The Gers have only scored four goals in the competition

Hosts set their sights on top-eight finish

Porto will look to secure their spot in the round of 16 when they host Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Dragons are ninth and only outside the seeded spots on goal difference and they will fancy their chances of securing a top-eight finish with Rangers in town.

Danny Rohl’s men, who are 31st in the 36-team League Phase, have already been eliminated and they can only finish on seven points in the League Phase. The Scottish outfit have won eight matches on the spin in all competitions, but it is tough to see Rohl fielding a full-strength team, especially with the Scottish Premiership title race on his mind.

The Gers have only won one of their seven matches so far in the competition and have scored four goals. Their hosts have lost one of their 15 home games this season and Rangers are bound to struggle against a team of that quality.

Francesco Farioli has seen his side score two goals or more in each of their home fixtures in the Europa League, while Rangers have conceded two or more in all of their away ties.
