Fenerbahce vs Besiktas Betting Tips & Predictions

Fenerbahce managed to get a draw against Lokomotiv Moscow in midweek to seal their place in the next round of the Europa League, and they are coming into this match knowing that a win would take them to the top of the Turkish Super Lig. However, Besiktas will be no pushovers. The visitors sit one point above Fenerbahce at the top of the table and come into this match having won four of their last six matches in all competitions.

This match could be absolutely crucial in deciding the fate of the Turkish Super Lig trophy this season. It will almost certainly be one of these two teams, with the nearest competitor sitting ten points adrift of Fenerbahce. Besiktas also have a game in hand over Fenerbahce, so it’s a must win match for the hosts on Monday.

Fenerbahce may have only won three of their last seven outings in all competitions, but all of their failures to win have been on the road. At home, they have won nine matches in a row and haven’t lost since a defeat to Molde in the Europa League back in September. 13 of their 16 home games since then have ended in victory for Fenerbahce.

Besiktas aren’t in the greatest of form either, with three defeats in their last eight matches representing their worst spell of form all season. Away from home they have only won one of their last four outings and they’re coming up against a side who are unbeaten at home in the Super Lig this season. This makes odds of 11/10 for a Fenerbahce win look excellent value, but I think that Besiktas will make the hosts’ life hard, so a narrow 2-1 correct score prediction is the best option in my opinion.
