Fram vs IBV Predictions

• Fram have only lost three of their nine home games in all competitions this season
• IBV are on a run of five defeats in their last six away fixtures
• Fram have scored at least two goals in their last five matches

Fram to pick up an important three points?

Fram have made a solid start on their return to the Icelandic top flight, picking up nine points from their opening nine games, that courtesy of two wins, three draws and four defeats.

They been victorious in one of their three home matches, but also suffered just one defeat, while they have had a handful of successes in cup competitions.

There is a concern about their defence, with their total of 23 goals conceded the most in the division, but they also score plenty, netting at least twice in five successive outings.

IBV struggling

It’s been a terrible start to the campaign for IBV, who sit bottom of the table and are yet to pick up a win, registering six defeats and three draws from nine games.

Helgi Sigurðsson’s side have been particularly poor on the road, losing three of their four outings, the only exception being a 3-3 draw with Keflavik.

They have only managed to score six goals all season, failing to net in their last two away trips and four successive league matches at all venues.

I think they may well score in this one, given the fragility of the Fram defence, but it is likely to be in vein, with a home win my initial prediction, and 3-1 to the hosts my correct score selection.
