Frosinone vs Atalanta Predictions
Things have started to get serious for Frosinone. After a relatively bright spell of football, they’ve slipped down to second from bottom in the Italian Serie A table. Their position is less severe than win-less Verona, who look as good as relegated already, but they are already six points adrift in the bottom three and are facing some serious questions as we move into the second half of the Serie A season.
Conceding goals has been the biggest problem. They’ve conceded a league high 45 goals on the season, 10 more than any other team. Their last two teams have been a pretty good demonstration. They suffered a 5-1 thrashing at home to league leaders Serie A, before suffering a 4-2 loss at the hands of Torino last weekend.
Their opponents on Saturday, Atalanta, can score, they’ve hit the back of the net 21 times in 20 games this season. However, their potency has been reduced in recent weeks. They have just three goals in their last five games, losing four of those matches. They ended a four-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan in last weekend’s round of games.
Three Reasons for Betting Tips
1. Goals follow Frosinone
They score plenty of goals, but more seriously in recent weeks, Frosinone concedes a lot. They play an open style and they’re constantly fragile in their back four.
2. Atalanta re-discovers form
They played a pretty good football game against Inter Milan last weekend, in particular, they did well to score a goal against the best defence in Serie A.
3. Good odds
The Over 2.5 goals market is coming in at 4/5 right now, which is a great number, very much worth a solid stake bet.
