Inter to cruise to victory

Inter are more prolific in front of goal than their hosts, and they should be backed to pick up where they left off when they visit Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.

They are third in Serie A, 11 places and 16 points above Genoa, having won ten and lost four of their 14 games this season. The hosts are 14th with three wins, five draws and six defeats.

Inter maintained their winning habit last weekend, beating Como 4-0 to bring the visitors’ 11-game unbeaten run to an end. Inter were odds-on in nine of the 11 matches and have won them all.

Inter are in excellent form, having won nine of their last 11 Serie A games. They have claimed victory in six of their last eight away matches and are aiming for a third straight league title.

Their attacking threat is clear – no team has scored more goals in Serie A this season than their 32, and they have netted three or more goals in five of their 14 league games.

Defending has not been Genoa’s strong suit this term. The hosts have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven Serie A games and have conceded in eight of their last ten home matches.

Three of Inter’s last four Serie A games have gone under 2.5 goals and three of their ten wins this season were by a 2-0 scoreline. Back Inter to win away 2-0 as a correct-score bet.
