Ipswich vs Swansea City Predictions

Ipswich have enjoyed success in six of their last seven home games in the Championship and they should be backed to win at Portman Road against Swansea, who have lost eight of their last ten away.

They are fourth in the league, 11 places and points ahead of Swansea, with 16 wins, nine draws and seven losses, while the visitors have 13 wins, seven draws and 14 defeats.

Ipswich have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just 12 goals in 16 Championship games – an average of 0.75 goals per game.

They look to have found the winning formula, having gone ten home games unbeaten in the Championship.

The goals are flowing for Ipswich, who have scored in nine consecutive games, including a 5-3 defeat to Wrexham last weekend. They have netted at least twice in seven of their last nine Championship matches.

Swansea are on a poor run of results, having lost eight of their last 10 Championship away games.

Swansea have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, scoring just 14 goals in 16 games – an average of 0.88 goals a game on the road.

A 2-0 home win for Ipswich looks the best correct-score bet. Four of Swansea’s last five Championship games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and Ipswich were 2-0 winners against Watford in their last league game.
