Home is key for the Old Lady

It is fifth meets third in Serie A this weekend as Juventus play host to Napoli, but the Old Lady can move one point behind their visitors with victory at fortress Allianz Stadium.

Juventus were beaten 2-1 in the reverse fixture in Naples in early December but they are unbeaten in 15 home matches this season and that includes Serie A victories over leaders Inter and fourth-placed Roma.

Luciano Spalletti’s side made it five clean sheets in their last eight home outings with Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Benfica in the Champions League and this could be a good time to host a Napoli side still missing a number of influential performers.

Depleted Napoli have road form to prove

The visitors, without the services of Kevin De Bruyne, Billy Gilmour, Frank Anguissa and David Neres, have drawn four of their last five matches.

Being held to a 1-1 draw at ten-man Copenhagen on Tuesday can be deemed a disappointing result for Napoli and they have won only four of their last 13 away games.

Juventus have kept Napoli at bay the last two times that they have played host to them and they can grind out victory, with a fifth 2-0 home win of the campaign making most punting appeal.
