Levante vs Cadiz Predictions

• Levante have only lost one of their last four home league games
• Cadiz are on a run of three draws in five matches in La Liga

Levante finally win at home

It may have come at the eleventh time of asking, but Levante finally picked up their first home league win of the season when they beat Mallorca at the weekend, but can lightning strike twice?

History suggests not. La Liga’s bottom club have not won back-to-back games since January 2021 and have failed to even score in five of their last eight home matches.

They are drawing plenty of times though, six times in fact on home soil, and perhaps the arrival of new manager Alessio Lisci has sparked some new life into their fight against the drop.

Cadiz looking for breathing room

Cadiz’s recent form is patchy too, perhaps no surprise when they sit second bottom in La Liga, only four points better of than Levante.

They have however picked up some strong results recently, including a 0-0 draw against Real Madrid and a 2-2 stalemate with Espanyol at the weekend.

Sergio’s side are winless in eight La Liga outings, but some recent victories in the Copa del Rey suggest they might be able to turn a corner.

I think it’s very difficult to separate these two sides, as neither will want to concede ground in their already huge battle against relegation. I predict a draw, selecting 1-1 as a correct score prediction.
