Tip Reasoning

  • Levante have won four and drawn one of their last five home league matches.
  • Granada have won just one of their last six La Liga fixtures, losing three.
  • The visitors have picked up just one point from their last four away trips.

Plenty Pointing Towards a Home Success in Valencia

With Levante flying at home and Granada continuing to toil on their travels, the hosts rate the clear pick for the points in this Saturday lunchtime’s La Liga encounter at Ciutat de Valencia.

Levante’s last outing here wasn’t a great result as they shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw against 16th placed Valladolid, but Granotas had previously racked up four straight wins at Ciutat de Valencia against Getafe (3-0), Real Sociedad (2-1), Real Betis (4-3) and Eibar (2-1).

Paco Lopez’ charges have lost just one from nine at home this season and it’s surprising that, while favourites, they’ve been installed at a shade of odds-against to beat a Granada side who have won just two and lost six of their ten away trips this term.

Nazaries have been in dire form of late with just one victory and three defeats from their last six, while they’ve also picked up just one point from their last four outings on the road.

Levante’s excellent form at Ciutat de Valencia has helped haul them up to ninth in the standings and they can draw level on points with eighth placed Granada if victorious this Saturday. With last week’s superb 1-2 triumph over Real Madrid under their belts, we’re backing Granotas to do just that and we’re also predicting a 2-1 correct score.

Granada are expected to get on the scoresheet after netting in all but five of their 21 league fixtures and they should get something against a Levante defence that’s maintained just one clean sheet all season.
