Liverpool vs Swansea Betting Tips

Liverpool managed to follow up their emphatic 4-1 victory away to Manchester City with a 2-1 Europa League win against Bordeaux in midweek.

This makes it five wins in Liverpool’s last six outings in all competitions, and their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace a few weeks ago is their only loss in the last 15 games in all competitions.

Newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp began his Anfield reign with three straight draws, but the Liverpool squad have gotten used to Klopp’s new tactics and won five of the last six.

This has seen them slowly progress up the table, and they are now in 9^th position with 20 points from their opening 13 games.

They will be fairly confident of adding to that points tally on Sunday. They are coming up against a Swansea side who have only won once in their last ten outings.

Six of these games have ended in defeat, and it would have been seven had Bournemouth not let a two goal lead slip last weekend.

This has seen Swansea drop down to 14^th in the table after a promising start to the season, and they are only five points clear of the relegation zone. Garry Monk is coming under increasing amounts of pressure as their form continues to decline.

Liverpool are having a bit of an injury crisis at the moment, with Daniel Sturridge, Jordan Rossiter, Jordan Henderson, Jon Flanagan, Mamadhou Sakho, Joe Gomez, and Danny Ings all out injured, along with Lucas Leiva’s suspension.

But they did well last weekend and Christian Benteke scored a screamer on Thursday against Bordeaux.

Four of Liverpool’s last five games have ended with three or more goals scored in them, with five of Swansea’s last seven games also seeing a glut of goals. This makes odds of 6/5 for a Liverpool Win and Over 2.5 Goals look really good value.
