Luxembourg vs Bosnia-Herzegovina Betting Tips & Predictions

Bosnia were expected to qualify for Euro 2016 having made the last World Cup but defeats to Cyprus and Israel during the group and a play-off loss to Ireland meant they didn’t make it. This is their first match since their 2-0 defeat in Dublin the 2nd leg of the play-off and they will now be plotting their path to the next World Cup in Russia when they will again be in the same group as Belgium. They’ve played 4 friendlies over the past 2 years, winning 3 of them and drawing the other.

Luxembourg are a bit better than the likes of San Marino and Andorra but picked up only 4 points during their qualifying campaign thanks to a 1-0 win against Macedonia and draw with Belarus. They conceded 3 or more goals in both games against all the sides that finished in the top 3 positions although their heaviest defeat was only 4-0 against Spain. They did beat Greece in a November friendly but the Greeks aren’t in good shape at all at the moment so we probably shouldn’t read too much into that.

Over the past few years Bosnia have been a team with a reputation for attacking football and plenty of goals and they are sure to take the game to their hosts here. They will be hurting from their failure to qualify for Euro 2016 particularly after they won their final 3 group games and looked to be getting back to their best prior to those play-offs. Their squad includes star players Dzeko and Pjanic and with those two on the pitch they should cause Luxembourg plenty of problems here and backing Bosnia to win and over 2.5 goals at 6/5 looks like a smart idea.
