Malta vs Croatia Betting Tips

The qualification dynamic is not complicated for Croatia, nor should their end of it cause them much issue. However, they are far from guaranteed an automatic spot in Euro 2016. On Tuesday night they travel to Malta, where they’ll play Group H’s win-less minnows.

It’s been a funny period for Croatia. They spoiled a strong position in the September fixtures drawing with Azerbaijan and losing 2-0 to Norway, but they bounced back resoundingly by thrashing Bulgaria 3-0 at home on Saturday night.

Malta shouldn’t represent much of a challenge. They’ve scored just three goals in their nine qualifying games so far, though one of those was a well-deserved 1-1 draw in Bulgaria. They don’t concede goals in bunches, but they rarely have the ball enough to completely avoid conceding either. It should be just a matter of time for Croatia in terms of breaking them down.

3. Eyes elsewhere

It’s hard to believe that the Croatian management won’t have one eye on the match-up between Italy and Norway, where a Norwegian defeat would potentially gift Croatia an automatic spot in Euro 2016.
