      MK Dons vs Blackburn Predictions

Milton Keynes are really struggling at the moment and it is shaping up to be a long first season at this level for them. They scored an injury time leveller at fellow newboys Bristol City last time out but prior to that the Dons had lost 6 in a row and they’ve already lost 5 times at Stadium MK this season.

Contrast that to Blackburn who have really picked up in recent weeks after a sluggish start. Rovers are unbeaten in 4 games now which include trips to QPR and Hull, two sides that were in the Premier League last season. They were comfortable winners against Charlton and Ipswich at Ewood and will fancy their chances of picking up another 3 points here.

Blackburn are only slight favourites for the game despite the complete contrast in how these sides have been playing. Gary Bowyer who looked to be on the brink of losing his job little over a month ago has re-vitalised his troops and against an MK Dons side that has scored just 5 goals in 9 matches since the opening day, they look worth backing at 8/11 with your cash back if the game ends level.

That is probably a safer bet than backing Blackburn to win outright given they do draw a lot on the road and have finished all square in 13 of their last 28 Championship away games, almost 50%.

They won’t get a better chance to win away this season though you sense given how poor Milton Keynes have been of late. Karl Robinson has had two weeks to pick up his troops but they look a little short on quality at this level and backing Blackburn to win 2-0 at 11/1 might be a good move here especially given how unconvincing the hosts have been in front of goal of late.
