Benfica have scored three or more goals in four of their 13 Primeira Liga games this season, but both teams to score is the best bet when they meet Moreirense at Parque Joaquim de Almeida Freitas on Sunday. BTTS had come in by half time when they last clashed in the league in February.

They are third in the league, four places above Moreirense, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. The hosts are seventh with six wins and five defeats, while Benfica have eight wins and no losses from their 13 games.

Victories are proving hard to come by for Moreirense, who have won just one of their last six Primeira Liga matches. Benfica were 2-1 winners over Nacional in their last away game two weeks ago and are unbeaten in 11 games against Moreirense.

Moreirense recovered from a two-goal deficit to share the points with Estoril in a 3-3 draw in their last Primeira Liga game, which maintained their run of matches with both teams scoring.

Both sides have scored in Benfica’s last three Primeira Liga matches and in seven of Moreirense’s last nine. In fact, both teams have found the net in five of the last seven meetings between these sides.

Moreirense have scored at least twice in five of their last seven Primeira Liga games and have found the net in all six of their home matches this season. Benfica, who have scored 26 goals in 13 league games this season, will also be hoping to get on the scoresheet.

Neither side has been solid at the back. Moreirense have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine of their last ten Primeira Liga games, while this is Benfica’s longest run of games without shutting out the opposition this season.

A 2-1 away win for Benfica looks a decent correct-score bet. Five of the last seven of Benfica’s Primeira Liga games have produced three goals or more and, of Benfica’s eight wins this season, three were by a 2-1 scoreline.
