MSV Duisburg vs Paderborn Betting Tips

It’s not been a good return to the second flight for Duisburg. They spent two seasons in 3. Liga before being promoted as 2^nd placed finishers last season.

Their last match was a goalless draw with St Pauli, which followed a 3-0 loss at Greuther Furth and a 2-0 win at home to Karlsruher.

Paderborn won their first away game of the 2. Bundesliga against Fortuna Dusseldorf, but since then have lost all three of their games without scoring a goal.

Both of Duisburg’s points have come at home, so they could definitely have a chance of picking up some points on Monday.

The history between these sides is fairly even. Paderborn have won two of the last five meetings between the sides, with Duisburg taking the win on the other three occasions.

Considering the terrible away form of Paderborn at the moment I’m inclined to take advantage of the excellent odds on offer for Duisburg to take something from this game. Odds of 7/10 for a Duisburg Win or Draw Double Chance are very good value considering they are the home side.
