Nottingham Forest vs Fulham Predictions
- Both teams have scored in five of Fulham’s last six games
- Score draws have been the result of four of Nottingham Forest’s six games this term
- The Cottagers have drawn three of their last four
Unbeaten Forest face tough Fulham test
Nottingham Forest and Fulham have both had solid starts to the new Premier League season and currently occupy top-half positions as a result.
The Tricky Trees are unbeaten, including a 1-0 win away at Anfield and a 2-2 draw on their travels against Brighton.
They remain one of four unbeaten teams in the top flight and now face an intriguing clash against Fulham.
The Cottagers have benefited from a fairly easy schedule at this early point of the season but produced a big performance against Newcastle last time out seeing off the Magpies 3-1.
New additions Joachim Andersen, Sander Berge and Emile Smith-Rowe have hit the ground running and despite the departure of Joao Palhinha, Marco Silva’s team looks more balanced than it did last term.
Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore have shown the form that saw them star at Wolves and has even seen the Mexican striker dislodge Rodrigo Muniz, who was the breakout star of last season, from the starting spot up top.
Both teams to find the net
Another veteran forward who continues to impress is Forest’s Chris Wood, who has netted three times in five league games this term.
The hosts are set up to play on the counter attack under manager Nuno Espirito Santo, only Ipswich and Everton have had lower possession figures than Forest, but they have been extremely effective with the pace and trickery of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Anthony Elanga and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Expect Fulham to dominate the ball in this game and Forest’s threat to come on the break.
Something that both teams have had in common is that both teams have found the net in the majority of their matches this term.
Both teams have found the net in five of Fulham’s last six games and four of Forest’s last six and the same is fancied between two teams who both have dangerous attacking options and a game plan to get at the other side.
Smith-Rowe can score once more
Four of Forest’s six competitive games this term have finished as a score draw and correct score backers should keep that in mind and take a 2-2 draw in this clash.
Emile Smith-Rowe got his second goal in Fulham colours last weekend and showed why they broke their transfer record to sign the former Arsenal midfielder, impressing throughout their win over Newcastle.
He hit the bar as well as finding the net and he looks a tempting price to score again in this one.
