Nurnberg vs Greuther Furth Predictions
- Neither side have a win across their last six competitive games, respectively.
- All four involved teams scored 2+ goals in both sides’ respective season openers.
- The main prediction won in four of Nurnberg’s last five home games.
An exciting encounter in Nuremberg
On the opening day of 2.Bundesliga action, Nurnberg were ultimately disappointed after falling into a three-goal deficit at St Pauli within the opening 40 minutes. They did almost pull off an unlikely comeback, but there was ultimately too much to do as they ended up losing by a tight 3-2 scoreline.
Nurnberg boss Robert Klaub has faced Greuther Furth on two prior occasions back in 2020/21, both of those games saw both teams score 2+ goals (D1, L1) and we expect this one to follow a similarly free flowing style.
The visitors also experienced an exciting opening round as they played out an exciting 2-2 stalemate against Holstein Kiel, a game in which they both led and trailed. However it was Furth that were left feeling like they had lost after they conceded the eventual equaliser with just ten minutes left on the clock.
Goals, goals, goals
Encounters between the sides are often exciting affairs, with the main prediction winning in both encounters the last time that they shared a division and in three of the last five H2Hs at this venue. Not only this, Nurnberg saw BTTS & O2.5 come in across four of their last five competitive home games.
As for the correct score, we are backing both teams to hit twice yet again in what could be an exciting 2-2 draw.
