Osasuna can claim key win

Osasuna and Levante meet in La Liga’s solitary fixture on Monday in a crucial fixture in terms of the battle against the drop.

Levante are propping up the table with just nine points on the board after 14 games, while Osauna occupied the final safe space going into this round of games and they are three points better off.

Home advantage could be key here as all three of Osasuna’s league wins have come at their Estadio El Sadar base in Pamplona, and Levante have lost half of their eight trips.

The visitors have been far stronger on the road than they have at home with eight of their nine points coming in away games. However, the Valencian side are in poor form overall with just one point to show from their last six games so Osasuna should be able to claim the points.

Ante Budimir is Osasuna’s top scorer in La Liga with four goals and he looks a solid candidate for an anytime effort here. The Croatian has three goals in his last five games across all competitions and should come into this game fresh, after staying on the bench in the cup win over Ebro on Tuesday.
