Palmeiras romped their way to an impressive 0-3 success at Juventude in midweek and they should encounter little trouble when they entertain America Mineiro at Allianz Parque this Sunday.

The campaign began on a disappointing note for Palmeiras who were beaten 1-0 at Flamengo on the opening day, but subsequent victories over Chapecoense (3-1) and Juventude (0-3) either side of a 1-1 draw against Corinthians leave Palestra sitting handily in sixth going into Matchday 5.

Abel Ferreira’s men have managed to keep just one clean sheet so far this term, but they’re backed to win here without conceding against an America Mineiro side who have failed to net in their first four league matches.

The visitors halted a run of three straight defeats with a goalless stalemate at home to Cuiaba on Wednesday evening, but they should be outclassed at Allianz Parque and it’s hard to envisage them breaking their goal duck in the top tier against an accomplished Palmeiras outfit.
