Partick Thistle are embroiled in an intense mid-table battle in the Scottish Premiership. Their 34 point tally lands them in 8th position in the table, with just five points separating them from 4th placed Ross County and six points between them and the relegation playoff position that Kilmanock occupy. Outside of the top three, it looks like anything could happen in the Scottish top flight this season.

However, the majority of their points came during a good spell of form back towards the end of 2015, and recently they have started dropping a lot more points than they will have hoped for. They have lost three of their last four and only won two of their last six outings.

However, with their form not where it usually is they will need to avoid dropping any more points if they are to hold off the determined Aberdeen.

Many of Celtic’s problems have come on the road. They have only won two of their last five away from home and have only kept a clean sheet in one of these matches. Partick Thistle have won four of their last six matches on home turf and have found the net in very match. This makes odds of 1/1 for Both Teams to Score very attractive indeed. I’m still expecting a Celtic win though as they look to make it 20 in a row against Partick Thistle, and I’m liking the look of a 2-1 correct score prediction at 7/1.
