Canaries face another tough trip

Preston should be backed to beat Norwich at home in the Championship on Saturday. The visitors have lost five of their last seven away games and could be heading for another defeat here.

They have looked vulnerable in defence, failing to keep a clean sheet in 21 of their last 22 Championship games. They have conceded on each of their last nine road trips and have shipped an average of 1.64 goals per game away from home this season.

Preston may be able to edge out Norwich in a close encounter, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Both teams have found the net in Norwich’s and Preston’s last eight Championship matches, and of Preston’s nine wins this season, three were by a 2-1 scoreline.
