Reading vs Huddersfield Betting Tips

A late flurry of goals brought the FA Cup match in Huddersfield to life last weekend. Huddersfield led 1-0 for the majority of the match, but two goals in the last 20 minutes for Reading put them in front before Nahki Wells converted a penalty for the home side in the 92^nd minute.

Reading have followed up this FA Cup draw with another draw and a defeat in the Championship, taking their recent record to two wins, two draws, and seven defeats in their last 11 matches in all competitions.

This has seen them slip down the Championship table after their excellent start to the season, and they now sit in 14^th position with 34 points from their opening 27 games.

Huddersfield lie just below their opponents in 16^th position with two fewer points than them, but they are in much better form than their hosts.

Huddersfield haven’t lost any of their last six matches in all competitions, winning three times and drawing three.

This has brought them out of a terrible run of form which saw them suffer a run of five defeats in six games at one point.

Both of their meetings this season have ended 2-2, and before that Huddersfield had won two of their previous three matches against Reading and lost once.

But the visitors might find it difficult to get another win on Tuesday. Reading have only lost two of their last nine home matches and have won five times, whereas Huddersfield have only won two of their last nine away days.

The goals seem to flow when these two sides come up against each other. There has been 15 goals scored in their last five meetings.

This makes odds of 1/1 for Over 2.5 Match Goals look really good value for money, and I’m also going for a 2-1 Reading Win at 15/2 thanks to their excellent home record.
