Will Roma bounce back?

Roma’s form has taken a bit of a dip over the last week, with a 3-2 Serie A defeat to Verona followed by a 1-1 stalemate in Belgium against Royal Union St-Gilloise in Europe on Thursday.

Those results mean Ivan Juric’s side have kept only two clean sheets in their last ten outings across all competitions, six of which have seen both teams score.

Indeed, both teams have netted in six of their last ten league fixtures too, two of which have been at the Stadio Olimpico

Bologna must tighten up

The team from the Italian capital take on a Bologna side whose defensive record is just as poor, managing only one clean sheet  from seven away games across all competitions.

As a result, both teams have scored three of their last four league outings on their travels; a pair of 2-2 stalemates with Como and Genoa and a 2-1 win at Monza.

Vincenzo Italiano’s side have still managed to pick up their fair share of good results on the road though, and could extend their unbeaten run in top flight away matches to five games here.
