Sampdoria’s revival eases their worries

Sampdoria’s run of three wins in five league games, including last week’s crucial derby victory over Genoa, has eased their relegation worries and moved them eight points clear of trouble.

After knocking Torino out of the Coppa Italia, Sampdoria have won four of their last six in all competitions, only losing to Lazio and Fiorentina.
