NFL Accumulator Tip
The Texans enter Week 15 riding a 5-game winning streak and fielding the NFL’s top overall and scoring defense, making them strong favorites to beat and cover against Arizona. The Cardinals have lose 5 in a row, are stuck with a limited offense without Kyler Murray, and continue to struggle defensively with one of the league’s worst pass rushes. With Houston surging at 8-5 while continuously covering the spread as well, this matchup heavily favors the home team.
The Bills are clinging to their faint AFC East hopes and need a road win at New England, looking to avenge their Week 5 loss while riding improved play behind Josh Allen. The Patriots have secured 10 straight wins behind MVP candidate Drake Maye, but most of those victories have come against sub-.500 opponents. Buffalo has been inconsistent off big wins, but this profiles as a strong revenge spot against a red-hot but largely untested Pats squad where the occasion could be too much for them.
The NFC’s No. 1 seed remains wide open, with the 10-3 Rams and Seahawks neck-and-neck as LA looks to handle an inconsistent 8-5 Detroit squad on Sunday. The Lions have struggled to find last year’s form, alternating wins and losses for 9 straight games and producing far fewer points following victories, while the Rams just bounced back from their disappointing loss to the Panthers in a big way behind a sharp Matthew Stafford, absolutely decimating the Cardinals. With Los Angeles dominant at home and Detroit unreliable on the road, the Rams should be able to win this one by at least a touchdown.
The Packers roll into Denver on a 4-game heater and are back atop the NFC North, while the Broncos return home riding an 11-game winning streak at Mile High and quietly boasting one of the league’s stingiest defenses. Both teams have been shaky against the spread, but Green Bay has steadied itself on the road, going 4-0-1 away from Lambeau Field since late September. Despite Denver’s home dominance and underdog success, this matchup sets up well for the Packers.
Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy flashed his good side again in Week 14, but despite a clean stat line and a hot start from Minnesota, the rookie still hasn’t proven he can deliver consistent, trustworthy production. The Vikings can however lean on their top-10 defense to keep them competitive against a Dallas offense that, despite a stumble in Detroit, still grades as one of the league’s most efficient units. Dallas’ defense remains vulnerable so McCarthy can have some success alongside his two-headed rushing monster in Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason. Dallas should prevail but Minnesota can push them all the way.
