Shkendija Tetovo took the North Macedonian league by storm last season, taking the league title by 16 points and scoring 69 goals in 33 games. Their form lasted over the entirety of the season with the club losing just two games all season, something complemented by the side conceded just 0.78 goals per game.

Shkendija saw their Europa League campaign end in the qualifying stage last season with the side being defeated Tottenham and seeing their campaign end before it began.

Mura saw their Europa League attempts fall at the same point last season, with the Slovenian side being thumped 5-1 by PSV.

Mura saw their Prva Liga championship come by the most slender of margins with the side winning the title by just one goal with their goal difference being slightly better than their nearest rivals.
