St Etienne vs Nancy Predictions, Betting Tips and Match Previews

St Etienne endured a torrid evening in Lorient on Saturday as goalkeeper Jessy Moulin’s red card on ten minutes marked the beginning of a very tough match. They eventually lost the game 2-1 to make it back to back losses in Ligue 1.

Overall their form has been rather disappointing recently, as illustrated by the fact they have only won three of their last ten games in all competitions. In Ligue 1 it’s more of the same, with two wins, three draws, and three defeats in their last eight outings putting them in 8th position in the table.

They are still only four points adrift of 4th placed Guingamp to be fair, but their overall form is looking a bit shoddy at the moment and they are dropping a lot of needless points, including at home. On home soil St Etienne have only won one of their last five, drawing three and losing once.

This makes up for a poor start to the campaign and they have managed to drag themselves up to 14th position in Ligue 1, but their current form suggests they are capable of rising even further.
