Bohs can wrap up spot in next round with ease

Bohemians were 2-0 winners over St Josephs in the first leg of their Conference League playoff last week and they are fancied to follow up with another win to nil in the second game between the two.

Bohs are keeping Shamrock Rovers honest in the Irish title race, currently sitting seven points off the league leaders, and their recent European record is solid. 

They won four of their six games in the 2021-22 Conference League qualifiers, falling just short against PAOK in the third round of qualifying.

St Joseph’s on the other hand have only won two of their last 15 European matches and were beaten 4-0 on aggregate by Shamrock Rovers last season.

They have lost to Shelborne, Rovers and Bohs in recent years by an aggregate score of 9-2. The Irish side have recorded four wins without conceding in their last four games and should be able to keep their hosts at arm’s length in this second leg.
