Two teams with MLS Cup ambitions meet at Soldier Field as Western Conference leaders Vancouver Whitecaps head to a Chicago Fire outfit who occupy third in the East.

The Whitecaps are probably the more likely winners but at 5-4 they look a bit too short considering their mixed road record – so the best angle looks to be backing over 3.5 goals.

Both sides see on average over three goals scored per game in MLS. Vancouver scored seven goals themselves in their final three games before the break as did the Fire, and with both attacks in form they should be able to combine for at least four goals.
