St Patricks vs NS Mura Predictions
- St. Patricks have lost one of their last five home matches
- Mura lost their opening game of the Slovenian season on Sunday
- Mura failed to impress against Moldovan opposition in the First Qualifying Round
In season St. Patricks hold the edge
St. Patricks are currently in the midst of their 2022 Irish Premier Division campaign and certainly hold the match fitness edge over Mura as a result. St. Patricks have been in good form on home soil lately, having taken ten points from their last five matches in front of their own fans. St. Patricks enter the competition for the first time this season following their 2nd place finish in the Irish topflight in 2021 and boss Tim Clancy will be hoping for a better showing from his side than they mustered in their last European quest where they were knocked out in the First Qualifying Round of the 2019/20 Europa League.
Mura failed to impress in the First Round
Mura were far from impressive in the First Qualifying Round where a pair of 2-1 victories were enough to see off Moldovan side Sf. Gheorghe. Mura’s confidence took a dent on Sunday when they lost their opening match in the 2022 Slovenian season, 2-0 away at O. Ljubljana. Mura face stronger opposition here than they did in the opening round and will need a drastically improved performance if they are to secure a first-leg lead.
St. Patricks to Win in the outright market will be the main selection for Thursday’s game in Ireland. St. Patricks hold the match fitness edge over their opponents and have been in good form in front of their own fans lately. The correct score prediction for Thursday’s game will be a 2-1 home win.
