Swansea vs Leicester Predictions
Swansea began their season very brightly, with the pacey trio of Andre Ayew, Bafetimbi Gomis, and Jefferson Montero teaming up well to secure some impressive results.
But when their attacking trio dropped off the boil the results started to suffer, and their attackers haven’t made a comeback yet.
They have now won just once in their last 11 matches in all competitions, losing seven times and dropping down a considerable amount in the Premier League table.
Swansea are now in 15th position and manager Garry Monk has had pressure mounting on him for weeks now.
Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri, contrary to his opposite half on Saturday, is probably looking at a good run for the Manager of the Season award.
He has led a team that narrowly avoided relegation last season to 2nd place in the Premier League, and they are only behind Manchester City on goal difference.
Last weekend saw them host Manchester United in a top of the table clash, with both teams taking home a point after Jamie Vardy broke the Premier League record for consecutive games scored in.
This makes it five wins and two draws in their last seven Premier League games, and their singular league loss this season means that no other team has lost fewer matches than them.
Leicester just seem impossible to beat at the moment. The belief that they have means that, unless they are getting thrashed, they just will not give up and lie down. As a result they have gained ten points from losing positions this season.
With Swansea so out of form and Leicester on a high from a run at the top of the table, I think Leicester can take away all the points on Saturday. Odds of 1.900 for a Leicester 0 Asian Handicap Win look extremely good value as well, so I’m backing that alongside a 2-1 correct score prediction at 10/1.
