Tranmere will be hoping a stunning comeback against Accrington in the EFL Cup on Tuesday will be the catalyst their season needs after defeats to Stevenage and Mansfield in their opening two league games.

Micky Mellon’s side had the best home record in the division last season, winning 16 of their 23 matches, while they face an opposition who have been successful on just two of their 18 trips to Prenton Park.
