      USA vs Brazil Predictions

The USA are in a state of wild inconsistency at the moment. They are generally in a good patch of form, but managed to lose to the likes of Jamaica and Panama during the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Losing against small nations like this will have the USA fans scratching their heads, especially considering the fact they have beaten teams such as Netherlands, Mexico, and Germany already this year.

They have only lost twice in their last 11 matches in all competitions, and have won an impressive eight of these.

This, coupled with the growing interest in the MLS certainly looks like the USA are growing fast as a footballing nation. Beating the likes of Brazil for the first time since 1998 would reinforce that massively.

Brazil’s terrible exit from the World Cup last summer is still fresh in the memory of their fans, but their excellent run of form after the competition helped to begin healing the wound.

It was ripped open again in the summer though as they went out of the Copa America on penalties to Paraguay after losing to Colombia in the group stages.

Overall though, their form is pretty good. They have won 13 of their last 15 matches in all competitions, losing once and drawing once.

The USA have made a bit of a habit of pulling off shock results this year, and results against the Netherlands and the world champions Germany shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Add this to the fact that the bookies are heavily favouring Brazil for this clash, and I think it would be profitable to back the USA to get a result by betting on a Win or Draw Double Chance at odds of 1/1.

If you’re feeling a little more risky, then odds of 10/3 for a USA Win also look very good, with a 2-1 correct score prediction bringing odds of 12/1.
