USA vs Colombia Predictions

Both teams preparing for Copa America

Both Colombia and the United States will play in this summer’s Copa America and they will prepare with a pair of warm up friendlies, starting with this one. The United States won the CONCACAF Nations League last time out, beating rivals Mexico in the final, but they have also suffered some disappointing results recently, such as defeats to Trinidad and Tobago and Slovenia.

They also face a Colombia side that are in rock solid form, their last defeat was a 1-0 loss to Argentina in February 2022, some 22 games ago. They have won their last six in a row, including a 2-1 victory over Brazil in November last year.

In such good form they must be considered dark horses for this year’s Copa America and may be too good for the United States here.

With Colombia in such fine form it’s hard to see past them for the win in this one, particularly as they have a strong record against these opponents, winning three of the last four meetings.
