Sporting to keep the pressure on

Sporting will look to cut the gap to Portuguese Primeira Liga leaders Porto when they make the trip to Estadio D. Afonso Henriques to take on a Vitoria Guimaraes side attempting to chase down a European spot.

The Lions are on a 10-game unbeaten in the league – registering eight wins and two draws – and they are yet to suffer defeat away from home in seven top-flight attempts (W6 D1).

Vitoria will be no pushovers, though, and they have lost just one of their last seven assignments, scoring in all but two of those contests.
