Watford host Leeds in relegation six-pointer
Watford and Leeds meet in a huge clash in terms of the battle against the drop at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Hornets sit second from bottom in the table and are three points adrift of safety, while Leeds are six points clear of the drop zone but have played two more games than the two sides immediately below them and one more than Watford.
Watford have the worst home record in the league but desperately need a result if they are to stand any realistic chance of survival, while Leeds know a win would be huge in their own battle against the drop.
Both defences can be breached
With so much on the line for both teams, going for a result as the main bet is a big ask and both teams to score stands out as a good alternative.
Watford have only managed one clean sheet in their last nine games and they have only managed two in 30 attempts in the Premier League.
Both teams to score has been a winning bet in each of Leeds’ last three games and they have gone 18 without a shut-out.
The visitors have, comfortably, the worst defence in the league with 68 goals conceded in 31 games. Watford have shipped 57 in their 30, so it is hard to see either managing a clean sheet and as such both teams to score has an excellent chance in this match-up between two teams with awful defensive records.
Leeds have found some form
Leeds were held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton last time out but they have managed seven points from the last nine available and appear to have turned a corner under new boss Jesse Marsch.
Watford have managed just seven points from their 14 home games so far and have lost 11 of those, including each of their last eight, so the visitors look the most likely winners and a 2-1 victory for Leeds has a chance in the correct score market.
Leeds midfielder Jack Harrison has six goals in 28 league games this season and has scored in each of his last two appearances. The 25-year-old is in form and looks a good option as an anytime goalscorer on Saturday.
- Both sides have found the net in Leeds’ last three Premier League matches
- No team has lost more games in the Premier League this season than Watford’s 20
