Strong travellers Zagreb have a chance in London

West Ham have already qualified as Group H winners but Dinamo Zagreb need a result to join them in the Europa League knockout stages.

A draw would be good enough for Zagreb to come in second spot due to their superior head-to-head record against Genk, but at a big price it could be worth taking the risk on the Croatian outfit to win in London.

With qualification and top spot already secured, this is a dead-rubber fixture for the Hammers and as such I’m expecting boss David Moyes to make plenty of changes as the top four fight in the Premier League will be his priority until the next phase of this competition.

Zagreb have been in good form on their travels of late with three wins in their last four trips, and they won at Genk earlier in this competition. The main reason for the away win selection here though is simply the fact they need to get something out of the game and West Ham don’t. The Hammers have scored in all of their home games this season and even if Moyes does make wholesale changes they may be able to continue that run, and a 2-1 win for the visitors is the correct score selection as Dinamo have scored at least two goals in seven of their last nine away games.
