Can the hosts end their losing run?

Defeat in their league opener to Melbourne Victory extended United’s losing run in the A-League to nine matches. They did get by Newcastle Jets in the FFA Cup back on the 13th of November but the home side have failed to win any of their last 10 league matches.

Western United finished 10th in a 12-team division last season losing eight games in succession to close out the season. They have lost each of their last four at home in the league but they have managed to score 18 times in 14 games since the start of last season so I fancy them to at least score here.

Will Perth take advantage?

Glory have failed to win any of their last nine games away from home but they could see that run come to an end here. They were narrowly beaten by Melbourne on penalties in the cup in midweek meaning they have drawn five of their last six games after 90 minutes.

Both teams have scored in each of their last eight games and I’m expecting more goals here with no clear favourite to back

The hosts are on a torrid run but a part of me questions whether or not Perth are good enough to take advantage. That is why I’m favouring a 1-1 draw with both teams to score.
