Blackpool can bring Wigan’s two-game winning run to an end with victory at the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday. Steve Bruce’s side have been winners on three of their last four League One away days and they look worth backing again here.

Blackpool are five places and ten points above Wigan in the table. The hosts, who have won 13, drawn 14 and lost 16 so far, are 15th, while Blackpool sit tenth with a record of 16 wins, 15 draws and 12 defeats.

Wigan have been disappointing in front of goal at home this season, scoring only 19 goals in 22 games – an average of 0.86 goals per game. Blackpool can take advantage and secure the win.

There have been three goals or more in 29 of Blackpool’s 43 League One matches this season, and a 2-1 away win looks a decent correct-score bet. 

Of Blackpool’s 16 wins this season, five were by a 2-1 scoreline and Wigan have lost 11 of their 16 games by a single goal.
