AC Milan To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Frosinone have a miserable record on the road this season and they are yet to win away in the league in six attempts, and their last four away trips have all been lost.

AC Milan vs Frosinone Predictions

  • Frosinone are winless in six away league games in Serie A this season, losing the last four
  • Milan’s last five home league games have featured under three goals
  • Milan striker Olivier Giroud has scored ten goals in 20 matches for club and country this season

Rossoneri can take care of domestic matters

Milan were well beaten by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday but they can get back on track against Frosinone in Serie A on Saturday.

The Rossoneri dominated possession against the Germans but could manage only four shots on target. Dortmund matched that but managed to score three of their efforts.

Milan must win their final group game at Newcastle to stand any chance of progressing and their position at the bottom of the section suggests they may miss out on the consolation prize of Europa League spot, too.

On the plus side, they are well placed in the Italian top flight to secure a place in next season’s Champions League but they will be looking to improve further on their third place position which sees them six points adrift of leaders Inter.

And they have a great opportunity to narrow the gap when Frosinone roll into town.

Frosinone have a miserable record on the road this season and they are yet to win away in the league in six attempts. Their last four away trips have all been lost and it is difficult to see them improving that record this weekend.

Goals unlikely to flow in San Siro

It is unlikely that Milan will cut loose, so the prediction is for a low-scoring home victory at San Siro.

Milan’s last five home league games have featured under three goals so we predict a Milan win and no more than two goals.

Olivier can play a starring role

Striker Olivier Giroud continues to show age is no barrier, and the 37-year-old Frenchman has bagged ten goals in 20 matches for club and country this season.

Giroud should return from suspension on Saturday and the prediction is for him to get on the scoresheet yet again at San Siro.
