Sky Blues Can Bag First Away Success
Coventry have won all eight of their previous meetings with Wycombe and the improving Sky Blues are fancied to obtain a positive result at Adams Park this Saturday afternoon.
Mark Robins’ charges are unbeaten in their last six Championship games going into this one (W2, D4) and while they’re still seeking their first away victory of the campaign, they’ve claimed points from their last two starts on the road including a 1-1 draw at leaders Norwich City.
And their unconvincing away record is somewhat negated by Wycombe’s struggles at Adams Park and the hosts’ overall form in the second tier this season. Gareth Ainsworth’s side have lost four of their eight outings here and they’re now winless in seven league matches following a 2-1 defeat at Barnsley on Wednesday night.
So with such a fine head to head record over Wanderers and a facile 1-4 triumph here in League One last term, this weekend’s contest looks like the perfect opportunity for Coventry to bag a first three point haul of the season on their travels.
We’re backing the visitors in the ‘Draw No Bet’ market which offers the insurance of returned stakes should things end all square and we’re also predicting a 0-1 correct score as Wycombe have failed to net in five of their eight home fixtures.
