Figueirense and Vitoria are separated by just 2 points but 5 places in a congested bottom half of the Brazilian top flight. Both sides look like contenders for the drop this season but both coaches will also have seen enough from their sides to believe the can beat it.

Figueirense are unbeaten in 15 home games in all competitions but 4 of the last 5 have finished level with a 1-0 win against lower league Sampaio Corrêa in the cup the exception. Two of their last 3 Serie A games have ended 1-1 and Vitoria have been involved in five 1-1 draws in the league already this term.
