Tuesday – Sevilla vs Las Palmas

Sevilla finish the season against Real Madrid and fifth-placed Villarreal, so the struggling side face a must-win encounter with Las Palmas on Tuesday. The former Europa League winners are only four points clear of the bottom three, while there are six points between them and second-bottom Las Palmas.

A win would take Sevilla onto 41 points, basically assuring them of safety. Their opponents have a poor record on the road, losing 10 of their 17 trips this term. The visitors have suffered three straight defeats, while they’ve lost three of their four games away to their fellow bottom-six sides. With that record behind them, back Las Palmas to fall to a damaging defeat.

Wednesday – Stockport vs Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient drew the first leg of this League One playoff tie thanks to a clearly offside goal and a late penalty, but Stockport should triumph at home. The hosts won seven of their final eight regular season games to finish third, while they’ve won nine of their previous 10 at home.

Orient won at this ground in September, but they finished the season with six defeats from 10 meetings with the sides above them.

Only Birmingham and Wrexham bettered Stockport’s home record this term, so home advantage should send them on to Wembley.

Thursday – Charlton vs Wycombe

After a 0-0 draw at Adams Park on Sunday, Charlton can progress to the League One playoff final with a home victory. The Addicks finished the campaign in fine form, winning 10 of their final 11 games at the Valley.

Wycombe closed out the season with heavy defeats to their three playoff rivals, including a 4-0 home loss to Charlton.

Friday – Famalicao vs Casa Pia

The final weekend of the Primeira Liga season features key battles at the top and bottom of the table on Saturday, but Friday night pits the sides in eighth and seventh against each other.

While there’s no European spot on the line, Famalicao will be out to leapfrog their opponents as they chase the second-best finish in the club’s history.

Casa Pia have lost five of their seven trips to their fellow top–half teams, while Famalicao have won four of their last five home games.

Saturday – Marseille vs Rennes

A tumultuous season for Marseille comes to a close on Saturday night, when the club can secure second palace in Ligue 1 with a home win over Rennes.

The visitors are 11th and they can’t escape the bottom-half, so a Marseille side who have won 5-1 and 4-1 in their previous two home games look good for a win. OM have won six of their last seven home matches, so they’re expected to ease to second this weekend.

Sunday – Brentford vs Fulham

Brentford claimed a narrow win at Ipswich last weekend to keep their hopes of European football alive. The Bees are relying on Man City winning the FA Cup, which would mean an eighth-placed finish would send them into the Conference League.

Thomas Frank’s side have won four on the spin, while they host a Fulham side who have lost their way. The Cottagers have little hope of Europe after suffering four defeats in five, so back Brentford to record a third-straight win at the Gtech.
