Dan Childs

England to lift the trophy at 8/11

Gareth Southgate’s side have been on an upward curve since the 0-0 draw against Scotland with key players Harry Kane, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire growing increasingly influential and they can deliver in front of a raucous home crowd.

Italy were the outstanding team in the group stage but they have looked a little more vulnerable since the start of the knockouts and it may just take one mistake to help the Three Lions over the line and end 55 years of hurt.

Henry Hardwicke

Over 2.5 goals at 31/20

There were only two goals inside 90 minutes in England’s semi-final win over Denmark, but there could have easily been a few more. The two sides notched up a total of 27 efforts on goal and the Three Lions accounted for 21 of those.

Italy have managed 48 shots in their three knockout games and they are likely to have more of the ball than they did against Spain in the semi-finals. Over 2.5 goals looks the play.

Ian Wilkerson

Raheem Sterling to score at 16/5

It’s likely that Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini will be comfortable playing against Harry Kane but that can provide space for some of the England attackers to exploit and Raheem Sterling has proved the master of that during the tournament.

The Manchester City man has found his international scoring touch and looks set to terrorise the Italian defence and create opportunities for himself and others. He can add to his Euro 2020 tally of three goals.

Aaron Ashley

Kalvin Phillips to be booked at 2/1

Italy’s midfield three – Marco Verratti, Jorginho and Nicolo Barella – should ask some serious questions of England defensively and that makes Kalvin Phillips an interesting option to be shown a card.

Leeds’ holding midfielder picked up a first-half booking in the 2-0 win over Germany and he collected ten yellows from just 29 Premier League appearances this season.

Chris Rivers

Emerson to have 1+ shot on target at 23/10

With Italy having had 50 more attempts on goal than England at Euro 2020, looking at a member of the Azzurri seems sensible. Emerson Palmieri got forward plenty in the semi-final against Spain as Roberto Mancini continues to urge his full-backs to operate largely in opposition territory.

Emerson, who is filling the large shoes left by the injured Leonardo Spinazzola, has registered three shots across three appearances at these Euros and appeals at 23/10 to have at least one shot on target in the final.
