39/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Scotland's clash with Morocco

39/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Scotland's clash with Morocco

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Scotland are the early leaders in Group C, after they saw off Haiti and Morocco held Brazil to a draw. Steve Clarke’s side will be desperate to build on their first World Cup victory since 1990, but they’re facing a different standard of opposition on Friday night.

I’ve built on my Scotland vs Morocco predictions to put together a 39/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Friday’s game.

Scotland vs Morocco Ultimate Bet Builder

Brahim Diaz to score anytime

Diaz had a tough finish to the season after missing the penalty which would have sealed the Africa Cup of Nations title for Morocco in January. He scored in five of his first six games at that tournament, which saw the Real Madrid forward finish as the top scorer.

Diaz scored his first goal in months in the final round of La Liga action, and he returned to form for his country with a strike against Norway ahead of the World Cup. The winger recorded an assist against Brazil, and he can get on the scoresheet against Scotland.

Scott McTominay 1+ shot on target (including woodwork)

McTominay failed to hit the target with his two shots against Haiti, but he did hit the woodwork – leading to a payout from Paddy Power.

McTominay had scored in four of his last eight matches for club and country before the Haiti game, and he remains key for Scotland going forward.

Andy Robertson to create 2+ shots

Ben Gannon-Doak was a standout for Scotland against Haiti, but Scotland could turn to the experienced Robertson to create chances against a sterner defence. The left-back teed up two shots in their opening game.

Robertson created three chances and made seven passes into the final third in Scotland’s clashes with the Ivory Coast and Japan in March. The full-back created four shots across Scotland’s two June friendlies, making 14 passes into the final third, so he should create chances against Morocco.

Andy Robertson to be shown a card

While Robertson is key for Scotland going forward, he could face a tough night defensively. He committed two fouls against Haiti, and he has to deal with both Diaz and Achraf Hakimi on his flank.

Hakimi was fouled five times in Morocco’s clash with Brazil, while Diaz drew three fouls. Together, they should cause problems for Robertson, so back him to end up in the book.
