4 Winners on Friday including 37/1 BTTS & Win treble!

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Friday was our strongest night since the World Cup started, with no fewer than four winners across the night’s football.

The pick of the bunch was a 37/1 Both Teams to Score & Win treble, while we also landed two accumulators and a 7/5 best bet.

You can read all about our winning tips below, and don’t forget we have daily free football tips throughout the summer.

37/1 BTTS & Win treble lands

Results

  • IK Brage 2-4 Falkenbergs
  • Shamrock Rovers 3-1 Galway United
  • New Zealand 1-5 Belgium

Our treble started in the Swedish second tier, with Falkenbergs aiming to continue a run of high-scoring away wins. However, Brage scored late into added time in the first half to head into the break 2-1 up.

However, Falkenbergs scored six minutes into the second half, and they were in front just before the hour mark. The visitors added a fourth with 20 minutes to spare, wrapping up the first leg of our treble.

In Dublin, Irish league leaders Shamrock Rovers scored twice in four minutes at the end of the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the break. The scoreline stayed the same until Rovers added a third with three minutes to play, but Galway United got on the scoresheet in added time to land our second leg.

It was a long wait for the third and final leg of our treble, with Belgium taking on New Zealand in Vancouver at 4am UK time. The Red Devils secured their first win of the tournament, but New Zealand’s late goal restored some pride, securing our 37/1 winner in the process.

Two 7/1 accumulators land

Results

  • IK Brage 2-4 Falkenbergs
  • Dundalk 2-3 Waterford
  • Norway 1-4 France
  • Senegal 5-0 Iraq

Our first leg of this accumulator won by half-time in Sweden, and so did the second. Dundalk scored the opening two goals of the game against Waterford, and they went on to blow that lead with Waterford scoring a late winner. The visitors started their comeback by halving the deficit in added time in the first half, clearing the 2.5 goal line.

There was another busy first half in Boston, as a rotated Norway side quickly fell 2-0 down to a full-strength France side. The Norwegians showed some fight to pull a goal back, but Ousmane Dembele completed a 32-minute hat-trick, which put us on the verge of another winner.

Our fourfold was in a great position when Senegal scored after four minutes, and Iraq were reduced to 10-men 13 minutes in. However, Senegal took their time after that, waiting until 10 minutes into the second half before scoring their second. They went on to record a comfortable win, and our 7/1 goals acca was wrapped up.

Results

  • Norway 1-4 France
  • Senegal 5-0 Iraq
  • Uruguay 0-1 Spain
  • Egypt 1-1 Iran

Spain to win to nil was our Bet of the Day tip, and they obliged to send a blunt Uruguay side out of the World Cup. Alex Baena’s first-half strike was enough to secure a win for a Spain side who never really got going.

Iran needed a result in order to stay in the tournament, and they were unfortunate not to get more than a point despite falling behind. Egypt scored their goal within five minutes, but Iran missed a penalty before equalising within the first 15 minutes of the game.

Iran were the stronger side from there on out, and while they couldn’t claim all three points, they did enough to land us another winner.
