Nikola Katic 1+ shot on target @ 5/2 vs Canada
We know set pieces will play a big role at this World Cup, and Bosnia’s Katic has proven to be a threat from them already. The Schalke defender had one effort on target from two shots away to Wales in their first play-off clash in March, and he followed that with two efforts on target against Italy.
Katic had six efforts on target across his four starts in qualifying, and he’s taken 48 shots across 44 league games for Schalke and FC Zurich across his last two club campaigns.
Andres Cubas to be booked @ 21/10 vs USA
Paraguay will be happy to cede possession to the USA in this clash, which could make it a busy night for their holding midfielder Cubas. The midfielder led all Paraguay players with 29 fouls committed and four yellow cards in qualifying.
Cubas was booked in their 2024 Copa America opener against Colombia, and then sent off in the second game against Brazil. The MLS-based midfielder has five cautions in 10 starts for the Vancouver Whitecaps this season, and he has been shown 23 cautions across the last three completed MLS campaigns.
