On Sunday night Si Woo Kim was able to hold off a great finish from Patrick Cantlay to take the title. The 55/1 shot was backed by Steve to impress on a course which suited him and he carded -23 having finished with an impressive final round 64.
The South Korean birded two of his final three holes to stay one shot clear of Cantlay, taking the win and landing our huge 55/1 prediction.
12/1 Abu Dhabi Championship winner!
Earlier in the day we also had a 12/1 winner to toast, as Tyrrell Hatton won in Abu Dhabi. The Englishman was in the hunt, but he went into the final round sitting a shot shy of leader Rory McIlroy.
However, McIlroy shot 72 on the final day to fall out of the running, with Hatton shooting six under in the final round to sit four shots clear at the top of the leaderboard.
After a strong showing in 2020 and given previous good form at this tournament Hatton was tipped to do well and he delivered despite sitting out at double the price of the market leaders.
